Babbage and Lovelace - Albion: 1849

Today on Discovery Enterprise we present a Steampunk tribute to those pioneers of mechanical computing: Charles Babbage and Ada Lovelace.

Inspired by the work of Syndey Padua, it speculates on the adventures Babbage and Lovelace might have had, had they become steampunk heroes defending the realm. It also pays homage to the classic Gerry Anderson production, Space: 1999.
